As you can see, the advertising of beauty and cosmetics has evolved dramatically since 1900's. Digital advances are also to thank for the clear, over edited images we see on billboards and in magazines now. Long gone are the days of illustrations. I feel sad that some brands don't recreate vintage ads, I think it would be something really lovely to do, to pay homage to all the leaders back then. You can also see brands have monitored beauty ideas and have switched up models and muses accordingly. The images we have now for me are able to sell products more than its ancestors.
